Here are some notable events. -The Blue Jays are playing the Cleveland Indians at the Rogers Centre at 1 p.m. -Fort York will be hosting a historical event, including musket and rife drill shows, a mirror maze, and storytelling -The Scarborough Museum will be holding a special Canada Day celebration which will have karaoke, croquet, a pie-eating contest, and historic foods to sample -Queen’s Park will have midway rides, inflatables, costume characters, storytelling, live performances, and plenty of other family-oriented events. Roads around Queen’s Park will also be closed from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. -The Annual Toronto Ribfest will take place at Centennial Park in Etobicoke starting Thursday and running until Sunday. -Mississauga’s annual Paint the Town Red celebration will feature a parade, live performances, and a special appearance by former mayor Hazel McCallion

Pacific Mall will be open regular Friday hours. -Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. -All RABBA Fine Foods will be open their regular 24-hour schedule -Bloor Street Market grocery store at the Manulife Centre will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
